The Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) programme has been given government approval to run through March 31st, 2026. The proposal is for spending more than 12 929 crore rupees. According to the Education Ministry, around 1,600 projects are expected to get financing under the new phase of the programmer.
